Farmers markets act as small business incubators and offer low overhead costs, a direct relationship with the customer, and they provide opportunities for small producers to develop business ventures where they live, eat, and play.
- You must have $1M or more in commercial liability insurance
- You must have a WV Business License
- You must have a Charles Town Business License
- Depending on your product, you might have to register with the Jefferson County Health Department
- Read our Vendor Handbook and Code of Conduct
- Read the WVDA Farmers Market Vendor Guide
- Go to managemymarket.com (there is no fee to apply) to set up an account, enter your product information, read our rules and regulations, and submit an application

Applications will be considered and admitted on an ongoing basis. Our application remains open all season. Admittance to the market depends on various factors and admittance is not guaranteed. Please note: We do not allow consultant-based businesses, franchise-based businesses, distributor-based businesses, or multi-level marketing businesses.
